On the site you'll find tons of cool pittsburgh shirts and misspelled words. You will see many instances where we use the letter v to begin words that normally start with the letter w. Ve like to do this very much because it makes us sound like ve are from svitzerland.

We are in no way affiliated with any professional sports teams, professional athletes, professional sports leagues, corporations, or non-profit organizations in the pittsburgh area and do not sell merchandise with brands, logos, or registered trademarks not owned by PittsburghSteelRocks.

PittsburghSteelRocks is about some friends having fun, making money, creating, and showing some love for the Burgh and the people around pittsburgh that make it sweet. Right now we run the website selling shirts and other apparel mainly focusing on whats goin on in the Burgh. Soon we'll also be selling fresh pierogies, steel beams, and pants n'at.
The styles:
Most of the desings are pretty simple. If you want a t-shirt with 3 million small logos all over it, go to Pac-Sun. Then Die. That's not Pittsburgh, thats Califonia. Well that was pretty harsh. Anyways I like my shirts with relatively large logos that say in one way or another, Pittsburgh is awesome, so thats what you get. Also most of the shirts have a black-n-gold color scheme. We are working on some variety, but if you don't like those colors, you probably shouldn't be on the site anyways.
The Bands and Randoms sections:
We have a lot of friends in the Pittsburgh music scene, in bands, promotion companies, owning venues around town, and we are trying to help them out by giving them a free place to sell their merch online. Buy their stuff, support Pittsburgh kids, go to shows, keep the scenes alive and well. Also some friends are starting clothing companies so look for us to offer some rad independent clothing on the site in the near future.
